By heightening students’ awareness of the relationship between culture and conflict, and the distinctive cultural approaches to conflict and its resolution, we aim to promote the pedagogy of sophisticated methods for engaging and resolving conflict on a global scale.

This education would be provided through classroom instruction in mediation and conflict management together with field internships in the United States and abroad. These opportunities would provide tools to cultivate the students’ inner wisdom and maturity for application in conflict situations within any region of the global community.

The Mesites Foundation draws on the expertise of academics and practitioners in the fields of international relations, law, religion, politics, psychology, and public administration. The Foundation is headquartered in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, with a satellite office in New York, New York.
